The Russian Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, commissioned to create a fan identification system, has released videos that show the process of getting a FAN ID step by step. The videos were designed with the Russian and international audiences in mind and will be available on various platforms popular among football fans.
FAN ID is required for attending any 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup match. It takes only a few minutes to get a FAN ID. It offers a number of benefits, such as free travel in and between 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup host cities. Foreign citizens with FAN ID can enter Russia without a visa starting 10 days before the first FCC match and leave within 10 days after the final.
Those who apply for a FAN ID now will get a special bonus when they come to pick up their FAN ID at a distribution center: a free ticket to the Rubin v. CSKA match at Kazan Arena on May 17. Those who already have their FAN IDs can also come to the distribution center to get their ticket.
