The Evenki Village Ethnographic Complex was founded in 2012. It is 830 kilometers away fr om Blagoveshchensk, near the village of Pervomayskoe village in the Tyndinsky region, wh ere over half of the Evenkis in Amur oblast live.
The Evenki Village consists of several buildings: a museum, hunter house, workshop, and bathhouse. Tourists are welcome to stay at guest houses, as well as in tents.
Accompanied by special songs and fire smoke, visitors enter the complex through chichipkan (holy gates) that are believed to clean the mind and soul.
Guests are greeted with a national Ulganni ceremony (fumigation, purification from evil thoughts, invocation for a pleasant stay in the lands of the Evenki).
Visitors have the opportunity to meet local craftsmen. They offer master classes in making souvenirs (which you can then take with you).
You can ride deer in the village or take pictures with them. It is also possible to go fishing and to taste Evenki cuisine.
A standard tourist program in Evenki Village lasts two days.
