The Museum of Architecture named after A. V. Schusev is the first special museum of architecture in Europe, one of the largest scientific centers of the world on architectural and town-planning heritage studying and popularization.
Museum funds number over 1 million units of storage and include architectural projects, drawings, images, mock-ups, measurements of architectural structures and also engravings, lithographs, paintings, applied art items, furniture, construction materials samples, sculpture and small architectural forms. There are also gravestones, details and fragments of lost monuments of architecture, negatives comprising of 160 thousand ancient, unique negatives and positives of the architecture and town-planning monuments of Russia, some countries of Europe and America.
Museum conducts the day of free visiting for children, schoolchildren and students of Technical Colleges and Higher Institutions (up to 18 year-old) every last Wednesday each month. Persons who have reached their fourteenth should show their identity document.
