MMDM (Moscow International Performing Arts Center) is a modern center of performing arts, which hasn't analogous inRussia. The hall is an independent producer association, which manages performances of Russian and foreign symphony orchestras, theaters, jazz, pop, folk bands, chamber bands, soloists-instrumentalists, and opera and ballet artists. Three halls of the center (Svetlanov, Chamber and Theater) have visited fro, large international forums and evening events, presentations and holiday shows, conferences and corporative meetings. The hall was built in 2002 on the initiative of public figure Vladimir Spivakov and with the assistance of the Moscow Government. It became not only important music center on a map of the capital, but also the main element of a large architectural ensemble at Kosmodamianskaya quay of theMoscowriver. There is a beautiful view to Novospasskiy monastery from the building. Cupola of the Performing Arts Center is crowned with emblem - treble clef-weather vane of9.5 mheight - created by Tsereteli.
