In the village of Barsuki, on the left bank of river Nazranka, stands a special “domestic” monument: a working watermill built in the late XIX century. The mill was used not just by people living in the immediate vicinity but also those coming from distant regions, up to Sernovodsk and Zakan-Yurt. It produced white flour and worked ceaselessly until the early seventies of the XX century.
In 2001, a decree issued by the government of the Republic of Ingushetia made the watermill of Barsuki a historical and cultural monument and put it under protection of the state.
