The ski resort Yugus is located on the left bank of the river Tom. A Gondola lift provides for the comfortable way across the river.
Yugus is considered to be one of the best pistes in Siberia. There are three trails there. The length of the special slalom trial is 900 m, its width is 50-60 m, with 300 m elevation and 19º average gradient of the slope. The slope is uniform, but in the end of the trial there is a clear break with a slope gradient increasing to 25º, and a sharp flattening in the end.
The giant slalom trial is 1300 m long and 50-60 m wide with elevation of 300 m and 14º average gradient of the slope. Next to the start of giant slalom piste the amateur trail begins, which is perfect for beginners, it is 1400 m long, 30-40 m wide and has an elevation of 300 m and 12º average gradient of the slope.
Next to the chair ski lift you can rent ski, snowboards, ski poles, boots, helmets, goggles. The trails are lit. There is a skiing school for those, who would like to start learning alpine skiing or to improve his/her skiing technique.
During weekends, Yugus provides a medical and rescue service.
