Observation desk «Starfall of Memories» is located on the mountain Koklyuk, a bit westwards from Mount Klementeva, at the highest point of this area — at an altitude of 345 m above sea level. From bird's-eye view can be enjoyed immense, spreading on of 360 degrees, the teeth of the extinct volcano Kara-Dag, the valley of the village Koktebel, mountain Uzun-Sirt, Armutlukskoy valley with bizarre shapes of lakes and mountain ranges.
At the top, next to the arch there is a tree of lovers, whose branches are hung with ribbons. According to popular belief — if two lovers together tie a ribbon on this tree, their love will be eternal.
A bit below the rotunda are located cliffs. Going down to them, visitors will see a sign: « For those who perished in the struggle against fascism, 1941-1945.» From some sources we know that the rotunda (arch) was built in the early 20th century, and was later destroyed.
Modern arch was erected under the supervision of a team of JSC «Starokrymsky» under supervision of Alexander Nikolayevich Djachkov in 1997.
