One of the sites of the Primorsky state United Museum is the home of the Traveler, or the memorial house-Museum of V. K. Arsenyev, the only preserved in Russia the house where he lived and worked outstanding Russian and Soviet writer, scientist, traveler and Explorer of the Far East Vladimir Arsenyev Klavdievich.
The house was built in the early XX century and belonged to the famous Vladivostok homeowner Andrei Fedorovich Jehova. Apartment number 4 on the second floor of the family Arseniev moved in in June 1929.
The location of the rooms in the apartment has been preserved as it was during the life of the traveler: office, living room, small bedroom and a nursery. In the office and living furniture and household items are authentic, they are arranged as it was during the life of the traveler, and instead of bedrooms and a children's expedition hall.
Hall tells the story of a research scientist journeys, such as the trip to Kamchatka, the commander Islands, and also large scientific expedition swerus-Sovetskaya Gavan — Khabarovsk. In the exposition hall also collected authentic personal tools Arsenyev and his expedition diaries.
