The house of fleet officers — a center of culture and Patriotic education, not only for the sailors of the Pacific fleet, but for all citizens of Vladivostok.
The officers of the Pacific fleet in Vladivostok formed on June 2, 1932, as the Vladivostok house of the red Army and Navy by order of the Naval forces of the Far East and placed in the house of the commander of the Vladivostok port.
In 1934, the Vladivostok House of the red Army and Fleet has the name Y. B. Gamarnik, which are excluded from the names of companies by the order of people's Commissariat of defense No. 98 June 12, 1937.
Drama theatre of the Pacific fleet is two stories. The first began in 1932, when the Vladivostok house of the red army and Navy was organized a theatrical group. Before the war, worked at the theater such masters of the stage, as a student of A. D. Wild, J. S. Stein, honored artist of the RSFSR V. I. Moskvin (son of the famous matuza I. M. Moskvin), and others.
During the great Patriotic war, the theater has toured military units and ships of the Pacific fleet, and when war broke out with Japan, the team split into front-line team, working in the army, is involved in the liberation of China and Korea. From 1955 to 1995, the Drama theatre of the Pacific fleet was based in the garrison village of Precepts of Ilyich on the shore of the sea of Okhotsk.
And in 1996, upon returning to Vladivostok, has started the second story theater. The basis of the new team was made up of former graduates of the theater Department of the far Eastern Institute of arts. The drama of the Pacific fleet is young, not only by the date of my second birth.
Drama theatre TOF - part of the Pacific fleet. The team goes on long hikes on vehicles, maintains garrisons, cities and towns throughout the Far East. In November 2005, the theatre has taken part and became the winner of 4 International festival "Young theatres of Russia" in Omsk. Participation in the MTF "Golden knight" is not only a high honor but a serious school and, of course, a powerful impulse for further creative work.
