In 2009 was announce a competition for the best draft of the monument to deportation victims, which was planned to be installed in the center of Pervomajskoe town. The winner of the competition was sculptor Ajder Aliev.
On the 27th of March 2009 a fundament of the monument to deportation victims was laid and on the 15 of May 2009 the unveiling of the memorial took place.
The main idea of the “Deportation” monument is comprehension of historical past of the Crimean-Tartar people. Sculptural composition consists of children, young woman and elderly gentleman and corresponds to historic true of tragic events of 1944. The concept of the monument is in depicting not only exile but also in showing the return to the Crimea. Totalitarian mechanism did not break the spirit of the deported, not embittered the characters, but on the contrary, gave birth to the amazing power, capable of creation and revival of their native land.
Monument to deported is depicted as a narrow base and an open top figurative part, resembling a flower. Thus, in the monument, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the deportation, laid the idea of personifying the revival of the Crimean-Tatar people in the homeland.
