In 1912, with a short visit in the city of Vladivostok was visited by a renowned poet, Yosano Akiko. The way it was in Paris, passing through the seaside town.
Many years later in 1994 by the joint efforts of Russia and Japan was opened the memorial stone. Since in Japan there is a tradition to indicate the path of great men memorials and signs. Many fans and admirers of the poet can even go on a pilgrimage in the footsteps of a poet.
The stone with a heartfelt verse was placed in the courtyard next to the statue of the Buddha. Personal funds and labor invested not only the residents of Russia and Japan, but also Vietnam.
