The Kazan Bridge is the first bridge in Vladivostok. It was built in the early 1900s. The significant event occurred in November of 1928. The bridge span is equal to 25 meters. The same figure appears in the number of days spent on its construction.
The bridge was designed and put into practice due to the first in the country gas and electrical welding laboratory. Victor Petrovich Vologdin and his team mate G. D. Shevchenko were the inspirational figures of the project. They embodied their work experience in the construction of the bridge with a span of 25.08 meters. It was assembled in the Vladivostok's district Egersheld a few months later.
Based on the organization's experience, this working group began to design a bridge with a span of 36.6 meters and weighing about 300 tons, a few years later.
