Square Muravyov-Amursky is a landmark for the history of the Vladivostok due to the fact that it is a monument to the discoverer of the city. The monument installed in the center of the square surrounded by covered with paving stone walkways, flowerbeds and planted shrubs.
The Park is situated on the crossing of two Central city streets - Lazo and Sukhanov. Because this is one of the most visited places for residents and guests of Vladivostok.
Geographically, the Park occupies an area in the shape of a triangle, down to the street Svetlanskaya accessed via two staircases, turning into a beautiful alley. With the center point of the square you can see the Golden horn, the drama theatre and many other significant places of Vladivostok.
In 2011 there was carried out a complete reconstruction of the square, after which there have been significant changes in the coverage and lighting of the Park and its landscaping and floral decoration of the flower beds.
