The monument to Soviet Partisans

The Obelisk in memory of the Soviet partisans fallen during the Great Patriotic War was erected upon an initiative of the public in 1964. The pyramid-shaped monument is of 10 meters high and it is installed on the base from ferro-concrete blocks that are fronted with granite.

The monument rests on the three stepped platform. There is a memorial tablet on the face side of the monument׳s lower cubical section.   The monument is topped by a star in the ellipse of ears.

The memorial on the bed of honour is the open-worked metallic construction with the replica of «Maxim» machine-gun.  There are four monuments of this kind in Partizansky Urban District. Two of them are in Vladimiro-Aleksandrovskoe, the third is in Novitskoe and the last one is in Khmelnitskoe. The installation time of these monuments dates back to 1956 year.
