The monumental decorative composition of Stela «Gubkinsky» is a symbol of the city of Gubkinsky. The composition was unveiled in 1997.
The Stela welcomes guests and residents at the entrance to the city. A metal construction symbolizes gas torch and at the same time looks like a column of gas which erupts from the entrails of the earth. The name of the youngest city of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District — Gubkinsky — and its municipal arms are placed on a metal base. The height of the stela is 9 metres.
