One of the most interesting monuments of Simferopol is, perhaps, Vorontsov House in the park “Salgirka”. It was built in 1827 by architect F. Elson.

The house is distinguished by its clear architectural planning and Doric colonnade, as well as a terrace descending to the park in steps. Marble lions are on either side of them. Kitchen building with windows and chimneys in the Gothic style, styled on the Bakhchisaray Palace, is also interesting.

The house is located in the park “Salgirka” laid in the early XIX century by a famous scientist academician P.S. Pallas.
