Natural monument (1969) near the village of Krasnokamenka above Gurzuf. It was formed fr om marble-like limestone, similar to the one that was used during the construction of "Komsomolskaya" metro station in Moscow. 

Here, near the Red Stone, there is the only place in the Crimea, where grapes from which the world's best dessert drink - Red Stone White Muscat – is produced. Lone mountain rises above the slope (about 500 m), forming a natural bastion, which offers a broad view. 

People used this in ancient times: ruins of a medieval lookout post were found on top of the Red Stone.
