The State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia is the largest center where the modern history of Russia can be studied. The most important events and phenomena which have defined Russian society and state development for one and half century, from the second half of XIX century up-to-date, are reflected in constantly replenished funds and exposition. Museum exhibits characterize many famous state and political figures, outstanding scholars, writers, artists and actors, tell about state transformations and revolutionary disruptions, wars and everyday work, ideological searches, political struggle and cultural life of the country. Excursions and educational museum programs familiar with all museum expositions and exhibitions and its exposition and memorial sections as “Presnya”, “Underground Printing House of 1905-1906”, “Finding Freedom”, G.
