The monument to the heroes of the Russo-Japanese war

16 Dec 2006 in Vladivostok was a monument to the heroes of the Russo-Japanese war. Ideological inspirers of the creation of the sculpture Patriotic Fund "Memory" and its President Pavel Ivanovich, Slabenko. In the center of the pedestal is the Archangel Michael as a symbol of the patron of the heavenly host.
The monument itself was made in North Korea with the active assistance of the Russian Pacific fleet commander Admiral Viktor Fedorov and company ZAO "Otechestvo".
The memorial belongs geographically to the Pacific Navy Museum and is the first sculptural reminder of the exploits of the heroes of the Russo-Japanese war.
This memorial plaque is a tribute of respect and admiration for the courage and heroism of Russian sailors, officers and soldiers who defended their homeland in the years dedicated to the 250 anniversary of the founding of the Pacific fleet.
